Busta
Rhyme: More Bang For Your Buck
By
Vic Everett
LOS
ANGELES, California -- Busta Rhymes has risen
from neighborhood emcee to the Earl of Hip-Hop,
but with many of his goals still on tap, this
worldwide figure still has quite a ways to
go before his house is in order. |

Busta Rhymes is positioning himself to become
an undeniable force in the world of business.
|
It's
a sunny afternoon outside a bustling record
store in Southern California, yet despite
the number of people carrying small bags filled
with musical treats, many young customers
were buying Busta Rhymes latest CD, The
Big Bang, by the armful -- which caught
major retailers off guard.
Music
fans are feeling the singles Busta has
dropped thus far, and are even bumping
joints like "Been Through the Storm,"
featuring soul legend Stevie Wonder and
"In The Ghetto," a remake of
sorts that offers vocals by the late Rick
James. In fact, the latter song currently
receives massive air play on popular radio
stations nationwide. Still, after several
full-length projects, perhaps the newly
buffed out emcee is entitled to a create
a bona fide classic.

pose.
|
Past
collaborations with Janet Jackson, P.
Diddy and Sean Paul birthed platinum hits
for Busta, but with The Big Bang,
the artist said he's firmly standing upon
the merits of his own talent.
