Even
if the lanky singer wasn’t churning
out multi-platinum achieving recordings, though,
he said that he’d continue to receive
support from his family. In addition to his
parents, Jon B.’s brother and sister
are also musicians who have chosen to embrace
the attributes of classical music.
In fact, each member of his
immediate family has carved out a successful
career out of their love of music.
“I come from a family
that was surrounded by music,” Jon B.
said. “It’s always been about
music. My mom is a concert pianist and my
dad is a conductor as well as a teacher of
music. He’s a professor at Cal State
L.A. and retired after doing it for almost
30 years, so he’s been in the business
for a long time. My brother is a cellist,
and my sister is a violist who plays in the
Manhattan Quartet.”
The singer's latest musical
endeavors can be found in his newest DVD "EVERYDAY
STRUGGLES," which features the entertainer
giving movie goers a tour of his home, in
addition to inside information and intimate
performances. |
