LOS ANGELES, California -- Clint Sands is a music producer to the stars – a one-man wrecking team who’s created hits for a diverse array of entertainers from The Westside Connection and Barry White to Dr. Dre and Too Short. Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Sands, an accomplished musician who plays several instruments, is the product of a soul and funk background. By the time he was a preadolescent he had discovered his love of music. Years later, Sands would become one of the most sought after musicians in L.A., often hired to play several recording sessions within a 24-hour period. It was the connections made in these sessions though, that allowed him to delve deeper into the world of music, and lend itself to Sands emerging as one of the most sought after producers in the music industry.

Dre, who discovered stars like Eminem and Snoop Dogg, apparently thought Sands had a lot to offer. “I was in a Warren G. session,” Sands explained, when asked to reveal how he and Dre began their professional relationship. “Dre needed somebody to produce his vocals and just felt that I’d tell him something real.”
And while he enjoys producing hits for established music stars, Sands also said he likes developing new talent, and signs the most promising to his production company. Artists signed to Sands’ company are then pitched to major labels like Columbia records and Jive records. Recording contracts are the result of the endeavor.
